It all begins with an idea.

What began as a simple idea—a young girl baking cupcakes in her family kitchen—has grown into a heartfelt mission of giving back to the Santa Barbara community. At just 8 years old, Claire von Yurt turned her love of baking into a non-profit business with a purpose: to use her passion to help others. Now 16, she continues to pour her creativity and care into every treat, but the mission remains the same.

Through Le Rosette, all profits are donated to local charities in Santa Barbara, like Santa Barbara Teddy Bear Foundation. Each cookie, cupcake, cake, and floral arrangement sold represents a step toward making a difference. By combining her love for baking with a drive to create positive change, Claire demonstrates how even the simplest ideas can have a lasting impact on the community.
